Every year the Daytona Beach News-Journal conducts a poll that asks for the readers of the newspaper to vote for the very best businesses in a number of categories. The poll is conducted to identify the businesses in each category that provide excellent service that contributes to the quality of life in the community. The readers voted in the poll and the winners were announced in the August 18 edition of the News-Journal newspaper.
